Life on the Jersey Coast & Delaware Waters.

I bought Last Ride used from Seaport Inlet Marina in January 2023 with 60 hours on it. Since then, our Cape Horn 22OS has carried us along the Jersey Coast and through Delaware Waters. Some days we bring home a full cooler; every day brings a good story from the water.

Six-inch setback jack plate

Installed by Spring Garden Marina on the Yamaha F300.

New midship cleat beside the coaming bolster

Midship cleats

Added midship cleats on both sides of the boat.

Epoch 36V lithium battery installed in the console

Epoch charger and battery installation in the console

Trolling motor & 36V system

Minn Kota Riptide Terrova 112, powered by an Epoch 36V lithium battery in the console with an Epoch AC charger. Used for Spot-Lock over wrecks.

Tom Graham Canvas made the three-sided enclosure for fall and winter fishing.

12V battery charger

Replaced the NOCO charger with a Minn Kota MK-220 PCL charger for the two 12V batteries.

Added a second 12-inch Garmin display at the helm.

Skar Audio speakers and Alpine amplifier installed inside the console

Eight-inch Skar Audio speakers

Upgraded from six-inch to eight-inch Skar Audio speakers and added an Alpine amplifier to power all four.

Designed and installed new Last Ride bolsters to replace the aging originals.

Yamaha ECU tune

The Yamaha F300 ECU was flashed by Rogue Customs Marine with a Nizpro tune, bringing output to approximately 332 horsepower.
